| Welcome to MLC Aquatic (est. 1993)
MLC Aquatic is a community based competition swimming club that trains at the Methodist Ladies College Kew & Hawthorn Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Melbourne Victoria. We are currently ranked 5th at the Victorian Championships and provide competition training for both males & females of all abilities. Nick Hibbins has been head coach since 2006 and the club currently boasts 18 National qualified swimmers including Open National Semi Finalists & Age National Finalists. |

Latest News: Metro East District Aggregates are complete with 4 MLC Aquatic Swimmers achieving overall top three results (Placings). Week One Results and Week Two Results. Well done Samantha Schlicht, Tegan Cavallari, Isabel Tolentino and Christian O'Nians.
Interclub will take place at Nunawading on the evenings of July 16th, July 30th, August 6th, August 20th and September 3rd.
A significant number of our Junior Swimmers aged between 9 and 13 inclusive have achieved recognition as part of the JX Performance Standards. 37 swimmers have posted results during the year worthy of recognition. Look here and search for your name or MLC Aquatic. A large number of our older swimmers in the age range 14 to 18 inclusive have achieved recognition as part of the Youth Performance Squad. (Youth Performance Squad or YPS is a new initiative commencing in 2010 to recogmise swimmers in the intermediate age range) 18 swimmers have posted results during the year worthy of recognition. 2010 Metro East District trip to Canberra will take place this year and MLC AQUATIC has increased the number of swimmers representing the District from 4 in 2009 to 10 in 2010. The following young swimmers qualified through the District Championships and have been selected to swim for the District.
2010 Australian Age Championships (AAC) 4 Victorian Records, 5 medals (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze), 10 finals swims, 17 swimmers, 37 individual swims, 4 relays, resplendant in our Nationals'10 uniform shirts provided by sponsors 2XU and our National Team 2XU Jackets drawing compliments and admiring glances from swimmers of other Swim Clubs, MLC AQUATIC had it's best championships for years.
