MLC Aquatic Uniform

When representing MLC Aquatic at swim meets, swimmers are encouraged to wear club polo tops, black MLC Aquatic caps and club trackpants or shorts. Swimmers should be proud of their club and display this through the wearing of the club uniform at all swim meets.

Sue or Maree will be at the MLC pool on Saturdays 7.15-745am unless notified. This will give everyone a regular time to make any purchases and we would encourage you to use that time. However, if you have any urgent requirements at other times please contact Sue or Maree at mcarthurs at bigpond.com.

All new members to the club should contact Sue or Maree to receive their free MLC Aquatic swim cap and subsidised club polo top.

CANBERRA TRIP REPORT
by Sarah Forbes

On Friday 13 June many MLC swimmers wiped their eyes and crawled out of bed, knowing that today they had to take a 10 hour bus trip to Canberra. Although we got to miss out on school for a day, the trip felt a lot longer than expected. Sitting in the bus on the first day most people were quite shy.

By dinner time the room was filled with laughter and chatting. The team was split up into three different groups. We got to meet out new coach for the weekend, and discussed the upcoming races. Although everybody claimed they weren't tired we stayed up for a while and then went straight to bed; anxious and excited for the next day to come.
